STUDIOPATRO or "pattern studio", began on the walls of Christina Weber's studio in San Francisco. A growing collage of leaves, maps, typography, and architecture evolved into prints, patterns and tea towels. Chris is an art director and designer by trade and always wanted to explore design through textiles. Tea towels were a natural fit because they are inherently sustainable and lend themselves to endless interpretations. Studiopatro is now a collaboration of local screeners, sewers and friends, who share a passion to create high-quality, enduring products.

Umbrella Shirts Co. Our colors and designs were expertly mixed and screened by Reuben B-L in his West Oakland studio. His commitment to eco-friendly practices includes using water-based inks and a soy/citrus clean-up. We admire his entrepreneurial spirit, attention to detail and his artistic determination.

Nordeck Photography Our friend Wendi is a master of light and still life. The best work always comes from true collaboration, and with Wendi, that's a given. We couldn't think of anyone more perfect to capture the heart and soul of Studiopatro.
